Last Year, New Year

I don’t usually make resolutions but I am setting one goal for this year and that is to post more to my website, add more pictures and generally stay current online about what I’ve been doing offline. Every time I think about updating my site, I look and realize I kinda like what I have…I just need to add to it. So I am and I will.

Looking back at 2015, I completed several projects that turned out well. One was the Alphabet project, illuminating each letter of the alphabet in a different way. Another was the President’s Award for David Weis, outgoing band booster president in May 2015. Both projects involved using the instruction I have received over the years in gilding and working with gold leaf.

Another project that I am proud of is the Blessed piece which finally, finally came together.  You can see more about it in a previous post.Blessed

I also continued working on my engraving certification and I am proud to say I am at the end of the process. It is not as easy as it looks and I am glad I made the decision to pursue it back in May.

I hope and intend that 2016 is filled with projects like these.
